Pilot Program for Shared Usage of Electric Scooters September 16, 2023

The National Research Infrastructure EN.I.R.I.S.S.T., affiliated with the University of the Aegean, collaborated with NCSR “DEMOKRITOS” and the mobility services company Evedima Greece to introduce a pilot program for shared electric scooter usage on the premises of DEMOKRITOS campus.

The main objective of this program is to reduce the use of private cars for commuting within the campus and gather data from scooter usage to draw conclusions regarding:

  • User needs and habits
  • The capabilities and road behavior/safety of electric scooters
