TransportNET is a network of leading university groups engaged in transport research and high-level education from various European countries, established in March 2003. To celebrate its 20 years of operation, a one-day conference was organized to showcase the scientific and social successes of the network. As part of interpersonal scientific meetings abroad, the Scientific Responsible and Coordinator of the Research Infrastructure EN.I.R.I.S.S.T, Ms. Amalia Polydoropoulou, and the doctoral candidate Georgios Papaioannou attended the event in Antwerp on March 30, 2023. Their presentations were titled ‘Passenger and Land Transport’ and ‘Sustainable Passenger Maritime Transport in Island Areas: Econometric Demand Forecasting,’ respectively.
